This Month's Featured Grant: The Challenged Athletes Foundation
It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. Grants allow athletes to acquire equipment or help with other sport expenses. Grant applications are open now and are due by December 6! The ArmeoPower is a robotic device intended for the rehabilitation of patients with severe to moderate impairments in upper limb function.
The ArmeoPower provides functional training to improve upper limb function. It consists of a motorized arm orthosis, which supports the weight of a patient’s arm and assists the patient’s movements as needed during functional upper limb exercises.
The ArmeoSpring is a device intended for the rehabilitation of patients with mild to moderate impairments in upper limb function. It provides functional training to improve upper limb function.
These amazing devices are already onsite at Pushing Boundaries and, the staff will be trained on them the first week of November!
