Featured Grant Opportunity: Getting Back Up
Getting Back Up's mission is to help those living with a spinal cord injury improve their quality of life TODAY by providing goods and services which can help make a difference in someone’s IMMEDIATE situation.
They provide qualified individuals with funding for participation in EXERCISE-BASED RECOVERY PROGRAMS and the purchase of ADAPTABLE PRODUCTS. These programs and products have been proven to greatly improve the physical and emotional well-being of the injured individual.

Thank You, Veterans!
In honor of Veteran's Day this month, we're highlighting The Paralyzed Veterans of America. For 75 years the PVA has advocated for quality healthcare, research and education, and civil rights for paralyzed veterans.
You can learn more about this great organization at www.pva.org.
Thank You Microsoft!
For the second year in a row, The Microsoft DSRE Team gave PB an hour of their time to learn
more about us and fundraise on our behalf! Thank you!
We also got to join the DivDev team for a Lunch & Learn- making sure people know we are a resource for themselves or loved ones navigating a neurological movement diagnosis/condition.
Every October MicrosoftGIVE encourages Microsoft employees to give back to their communities... and Microsoft matches their giving 100%. We are so grateful for our mighty neighbor across the street!
Thank you, Barry!
After EIGHT years on The Pushing Boundaries Board, Barry Long will be stepping down at the end of 2021. We are glad to say that he will continue to be a PB Cheerleader and advocate.
'Grateful' doesn't begin to cover our emotions. But our founder, Sharon Northrup, summed it well:
"Many years ago Allan and I went to see a demonstration for Magic Wheels given by a young man named Barry Long. That meeting turned into another type of “Magic”. It began the forming of a friendship that has withstood the test of time. It has given Pushing Boundaries a dedicated Ambassador and Leader and will continue with his “magic” if he can.
I am so proud to have you as a friend and it’s always amazing to watch the new adventures that come along in your life. Thank you seems too simple to say but they are truly said from my heart."
