Life after a Brain Injury can cause new emotions that you have never experienced before. The goal of this class is to recognize emotional and behavioral patterns and beliefs, stop extreme emotional behaviors, learn replacement behaviors, use more effective non-violent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and finally to develop a practical and individualized plan for dealing with heightened emotions.
For individuals with brain injury and their caregiver.
